Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Investigate ER matters, draft reports, and recommend actions.
- Advise line management on disciplinary and performance issues.
- Draft and issue counselling forms, warnings, and hearing notices.
- maintain disciplinary consistency.
- Manage incapacity cases using the Bradford factor.
- Handle CCMA cases and ensure labour law compliance.
- Advise on Department of Labour inspections and BCEA compliance.
- Manage employee equity and reporting requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and attend disciplinary hearings, preparing required documents and forms.
- Monitor ESS leave applications to ensure adherence to leave policies.
- Manage absenteeism with line management and recommend corrective actions.
- Offer guidance on grievance management and resolution.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, BCom Law / LLB Degree
Experience and knowledge
- Proven experience in the HR field, preferably in a Generalist role.
- Solid knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA, Skills Development Act and related employment acts.
- Experience with CCMA processes, including conciliations and arbitrations.
- Experience in facilitating disciplinary and incapacity hearings
- Computer literate - experience with the use of the Google Suite preferable (Google Drive, Sheets and Docs)

Working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 to 17h00 with a 45-minute lunch break. Due to the nature of the position, you will be required to be on call on a rotational basis.
Salary on offer from R 35 000 Cost To Company, salaries are dependent on experience, qualifications, skills and attributes.
