We are seeking a skilled and results-driven WordPress Web Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of managing and enhancing WordPress-based websites across our various business units, creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and high-performing web interfaces that reflect our vibrant brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • WordPress Development & Maintenance:
    • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites for multiple business units.
    • Implement custom themes, plugins, and functionalities tailored to brand needs.
    • Ensure websites are optimised for speed, performance, and SEO compliance.
  • UI/UX Design:
    • Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to enhance website functionality and usability.
    • Design visually engaging and responsive layouts that work seamlessly across devices.
    • Conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and implement necessary improvements.
  • Content & Visual Management:
    • Update website content and images while adhering to brand standards.
    • Design and edit digital assets, banners, and visual imagery for websites.
    • Manage and update chatbot functionalities to improve user engagement.
  • Technical Support:
    • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring consistent functionality.
    • Collaborate with developers on advanced customisations and integrations (e.g., APIs).
    • Stay informed about WordPress updates, plugins, and emerging web technologies.
  • Research & Strategy:
    • Analyze target markets, brand positioning, and competitor trends to propose innovative web solutions.
    • Monitor web analytics to assess website performance and recommend optimisation strategies.
  • Software and CRM Development 
    • Set up and configure digital platforms including CMS (e.g., WordPress, Webflow), CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Monday.com), and marketing tools (e.g., Zoho).
    • Integrate data and workflows across platforms to support cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, operations).
    • Monitor platform health, uptime, and performance, resolving bugs and technical issues proactively.
    • Maintain regular software updates, plugin reviews, backups, and security checks.
    • Train internal teams on new tools or systems and provide ongoing technical support.
    • Collaborate with third-party vendors or consultants as needed for implementation or upgrades

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/qualification in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in WordPress design and development (minimum 3-5 years).
  • Proficiency in WordPress CMS, theme building, and plugin management.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript (with experience in responsive design).
  • Strong command of UX/UI principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimisation tools.
  • Experience with frameworks like Bootstrap and familiarity with tools such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.
  • Competence with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
  • Knowledge of basic development principles (e.g., API integration, CLI tools, and Git).
